Hey folks! The name's Ira, and I like to think I'm a friendly fellow. I run the Rosemary Inn, so if you're a traveler odds are you're stopping here for a night or two. The town's lovely. If you're a neighbor, I welcome you anyways - we always have something going on. The best way to bond with people, new or old, is over some warm food and cold drink, and I can give you that. I hope you find yourself at home here, but don't think I'm not going to throw you out if you start getting rowdy or loud. Be a friend. If you're willing to stick around I'm full of stories that folks near and far have told me.
I can be very talkative, so I'm told, so don't mind my tangents too much. My daughters say I'm a bit corny, but I sometimes see them cracking the same jokes I do. Clearly it runs in the family. I'm not much of a reader, more of a listener and teller. I like experiencing things, I guess. Nowadays it's more relaxed and I'm fine with this tiny town being the way it's always been. As long as you respect me and the town, I'll respect you!

[attr="class","hopelovetitle"]BIOGRAPHY

I grew up in this town, this was my father's inn before me. The town used to get a lot more activity, but that's been dwindling as of late. Some say it has to do with the Harvest Goddess, but you can believe what you want. It might just be that people just aren't as interested in dopey towns like this when the city's not too far and full of life. Too much noise for me. My father was a lot like me, or I'm a lot like him, and made sure I took part in all the things that the town has to offer.
As a kid I tended to the various inn tasks, and this has been my life for as long as I remember, aside from a few years back when I was a fresh young adult. That was when I did go out to the city, and to other towns, and all the way to far beaches. I once met a fellow who hand-made instruments from these trees found only in the mountains his village was in. I have one of them back here, he taught me to play a little and sometimes I'll strum a tune during particularly lively nights or during festivals. Not to mention, that village had some real nice cheese - made from yak milk, something you never see around these parts. It's way too far for the journey now.
Eventually, adventure got old to me so I got married to my wife Monette and settled back here. We had my two daughters, Moira and Wendy, not too long after. Now they're both almost ready to leave the nest themselves! My father was coming along in years as well, so it was only due time I started taking some more responsibility. Well, my father passed a few years back, so I'm now the sole owner here. I'm real glad you've come along, I hope you love the town as much as I do!

If you're ever interested in making my day, I'm very much interested in various cheeses! I've tried all sorts, and I'm always interested in what's out there. The stinkier the better, in my opinion! I have a few on hand behind the counter as well if you're ever in the mood to try some. It's hard to find others who share this passion, so don't worry about being greedy.
