his mother, celeste was called lots of things free spirited, a rebel, unpredictable, homewrecker and a witch just to name a few. of course only some of it was true. she was a witch, but never a homewrecker. so what if she had happened to fall in love with someone that was already spoken for. it wasn't going to hurt anyone that badly, especially if they kept their love a secret. it didn't matter she knew he wasn't going to leave with her. not when his betrothed was from a wealthy family. she was nineteen when she had him. her parents had sent her away. she had already caused enough damage. she showed up at her aunts door step with nothing but the clothes on her back and a bit of money her parents had sent for the trouble.[break][break]
her aunt could never have children of her own. she was glad to take both of them in. it wasn't long before a baby's cry could be heard. he was born during the winter. there was a chance he wouldn't have magic, but as he grew older there were small signs. unlike her mother, celete's aunt wasn't against using magic, of course only using it for good. celete always spoke with the truth. as soon as he was old enough to understand and he was already asking about his father celeste told him. his father had a different family. after coming here celete never knew if he tried to find them or not. she did tell him before she left she was expecting.[break][break]
emmett grew up in symphonia. his mother had managed to make something of herself to her parents disbelief. she had become a teacher. it was slightly embarrassing having your mother teach you. of course that didn't stop him from having lunch with her. he always preferred her cooking over the school lunch. as he got older he was always coming and going at different times. the boy loved to explore and it seemed like he would go further and further away. even more so when he discovered his magic. he was around eleven years old. just like his mother had been told, he must also hide his magic from human eyes. as he grew older he honed his cooking skills. his mother would tease him and remind him that everyone loves a man who can cook. as soon as he was old enough he got a job at the local bakery. working after school part time. it eventually turned to full time after he completed his schooling. he isn't sure if he wants to own his own business or travel.
