[attr="class","aistxt"]friends Zed is newly independent living on his own in Symphonia! He is a doctor at a self-run clinic on the outskirts of Symphonia. He offers help to anyone, regardless if they can afford it or not and he's able to keep up with the help of his eight-legged friends: spiders. He's a wizard that specializes in arachnid empathy to create your every day items, like clothes and curtains, but also the more medical items, such as bandages and sutures.

Seems like a good deal, right? Well, though some have stepped into his clinic, some run out immediately because of his aggressive, delinquent-like appearance. He can seem very intimidating at first but he's a big softy, more nervous and skittish around people than anything else. If you can get over his initial first impression, he's a sweet and reserved wizard doctor.

Zed mostly keeps to himself and his spiders so he definitely needs to branch out and meet some new people. Being new to Symphonia, he could use some help adjusting. I imagine either a regular patient would come along, or perhaps just a generally outgoing passerby. Either way, he would love to welcome them to his clinic. It might take him a little time to remember names, so don't be surprised and please don't be angry if he happens to remember you as 'Dick' instead of 'Rick' or 'that person who walked into the wall that one time' or something of the sort! He's working on it~

Small thing though, he is a little more skittish around girls but who could blame him when his mother and seven older sisters used to tease him with stories that he'll fall in love with a girl and she'll eat his head off.

enemies It's no secret that his initial impressions tend to be that he's a delinquent or a troublemaker - someone looking for a fight. However, that's just the look he has on his face, he swears! He accidentally gives people the wrong impression. Thus, it's not surprising that occasionally he'll attract the wrong crowd.

It wouldn't be surprising with how gullible he is to also fall into someone's trap or be a scape goat. He is so passive so even when someone blames him for something, he's likely just to take it rather than fight for himself. This is often because he finds in the long run it's not worth it to pursue an argument. Would he be disappointed? Yes, but he wouldn't do anything about it. He only expected to ever really find close friends in his spiders, anyway.

loves Despite coming to the conclusion that he is gay, he hasn't really had any experience to back it up. He just knows he has a general fear of women, based on his family. But he's easily impressionable. He would like to think someday he may meet someone that he can share the bowl of candy at his clinic with, or that he can talk about to his spiders or family. He's just as human, in a sense, as anyone else.

I wouldn't be surprised if someone took advantage of him, just intending for him to be a one night or an occasional fling, while he clings to that kind of affection innocently. He is a little dumb when it comes to love though so it may be a little slow to get him to understand romantic advances.

I think some cute ideas would be he would have a crush or someone may have a crush on him and he wouldn't realize it. Other ideas could be that he is being taken advantage of for whatever reason, like a place to stay or just cuz he's so damn gullible. But i'm open to any ideas! Please treat him well~

Zed Ragni && Nýchta
Hello, mister resting bitch face, meet the god most think is a monster! Perfect match.

So, I can see these two possibly becoming at the very least friends later down the line. Not that Nychta will ever admit to it. He's the type to try and avoid social interaction at all cost (though he's been failing at it recently 'cause the people in this town are persistent), but he is also the type to come around often if he's curious about something or someone. Since Zed is a doctor, of all things, and has the spider thing going for him, Nychta would find that undeniable (though he will vocally deny it) pull to figure Zed out.

He'd probably claim that he just wanted to see the spiders.

Thus, a bunch of visits from Nychta when no one else is around, and the winter god, at the very least, would grow more comfortable around Zed's presence. He might even start asking questions since the only part of human/witch/etc. physiology is that they will eventually die.

I can also possibly see their first meeting involving Nychta getting hurt somehow and Zed, being a doctor, not leaving him alone until it's been tended to. Probably force him to come to his clinic to get the injury redressed, only for Nychta to come the very next day completely healed. Don't mind him as he tries to climb out the window immediately afterwards.

Zed Ragni && Rasmus
If Zed ever wanders down to the shore, he might run into Rasmus who will instantly coo over how cool his hair is. If he ever finds out about the spider thing, you can count on him asking a million questions and probably a bunch of comparisons to different animals in the sea mostly crabs. They also sport a few similarities personality-wise, so I could see them becoming fast friends. Or, rather, Rasmus will think that they're friends right off the bat.

Zed Ragni && Nýchta
Hello, winter god! I definitely see these two being friends maybe later down on the road. He wouldn't mind letting Nychta just hang around his clinic to play with his spiders or whatnot so long as he didn't squish them. In all honesty, it would probably be a good way to warm Zed up to him since he isn't trying to kill his friends. Eventually, if Nychta becomes a regular visitor, he'd probably offer to make snacks or something to share with the god.

I think it would be hilarious if Zed fusses and worries about Nychta when he gets hurt somehow and then shows up next day healed? He'd be curious what kind of medicine did that and might inquire Nychta if he would be so open to admit how he healed so quickly. But it would certainly leave some reasons to be curious for Zed!

Zed Ragni && Rasmus
Zed prefers nature so i can see him taking a walk down the shore. He might be more startled by Rasmus' friendliness than anything! At least initially. But being patient as he is, I'm sure he would answer all of Rasmus's questions best he could! I can see Rasmus as probably the more outgoing half of their relationship and I can see Zed really admiring that in Rasmus!
