Nýchta x juniper this would be absolutely perfect. and tbh juniper would be sad when he finally leaves her, causing her to become self`aware of what a monster she really is. after all, finding someone who's even remotely like you, it'd be hard to let that person go, but changing who you are when you've been that way for so long is such a tedious and draining task.

I mean half human half fish, it can't be as bad as the other supernaturals right? Just watch her give him a cookie then he can stay here forever, if he is around the water she might have met him or depending on how long he has been in Symphonia.

Alright so! Shy likes to be left alone. Shy is also a major brat but an artist at heart. Should he find out there's old gods out there who don't like humans - hey they have something in common? Shy doesn't like a lot of people because people have only ever really been shitty to him. Maybe they find a kinship in that. Maybe Shy relies on Nychta eventually because he has nowhere else to go. Maybe Nychta helps him through his closeted realizations? Iunno, I'm always on par with romance and ships and drama so lmk :x

Yooo same goes here! Shy is kinda lowkey afraid of water, so maybe Rasmas can help with that? Little things like getting him into the shallows and holding his arms to gently coerce him in further? Shy would throw an absolute fit but it'd be good for him to get over his fear. Maybe some heart to hearts about why he's so scared of it to reveal past trauma?

grab your scuba gear and let's go on a swim! A fishman is definitely easier to take in than, say, mr. winter mountain goat over there. He's only been around for maaaybe a month or two, being a recent freeloader on the shore. Since it's spring, they could meet up for the first time if she avoided the beach until it was warmer out. He will also gladly take this thing called a cookie, ask a million questions about it, taste it, stuff the whole thing in his mouth, and then ask a million more. And ask for more.

Bonding over a mutual dislike/hatred is always a great way to go, especially with Nychta. You hate people? I hate people. Let's hate people together. Nychta is not going to make it easy to bond, however. You have to find a way to keep him in one place long enough break out the animals and chocolate and repeat the process enough so he's comfortable with your presence. Plus ignore all his attempts to get rid of Shy verbally. Never physically, other than the obvious of running away. lol.

Or, maybe they could meet accidentally when both of them wanted to be alone, cue to probable "wtf are you" and go from there. Get over that first meeting and leave a good impression (which would be any impression other than another human who rejected me), and Nychta will be far more willing to hang around him from time to time.

Nychta would not open up to him at first, but if Shy does, I can see him feeling a little guilty about not doing so. Probably try to give advice or his opinion when necessary to make up for it and eventually get over his insecurities to talk about himself. By that point Shy would pretty much have his loyalty.

And even though Nychta would be clueless, he can totally try to help with those closeted realizations. ;D

Rassy is so down for teaching this poor human the wonders of the water. Make sure it's obvious that he's afraid of water, though. Rasmus might jump the gun and try to pull him in otherwise. But once he does know, he'll be 100% considerate about it and probably keep asking if he's fine even while Shy's in a fit. Rasmus will make sure to reassure him that he won't let him drown! He'd be way too worried if it even looked like Shy was about to go under or if he let his fear show. Cue overprotective Rassy.

Rassy will bask in his excitement and be super confused on why but accept it anyway! Obviously, Davis needs to fill a bath tub and keep Rassy in it during storms so a) Rasmus doesn't have to deal with rough seas and b) Davis can cling to his hand until the storm blows over.

And he'll ignore the fisherman thing as long as he releases his catches kthxbye. He can keep the crabs though.

I can see the two being stand offish, the two being polar opposite seasons.
Their only real bonding point being their loathing of humans, granted their
point of views maybe a little different from each other. Possibly ambrose
would flaunt how people adore him, then almost as a second thought ask:
wait, why are your powers not very strong? Aren't you krumpus?

I suppose they'd be civil, frienemies of sorts.

Gosh, Nychta wouldn't even know how to answer that question. He was never given too much info on the whole god thing, though that's to be expected when you turn the other way the moment someone who could appeared. The flaunting would definitely make him angry, though Ambrose might just get a literal cold shoulder as Nychta tries to get away from him.

Frenemies definitely works, especially if Ambrose can keep Nychta from leaving too soon so they could actual spend time together. Which isn't hard, as many humans have already found out. xD

Nýchta || Callisto Wickes

Nychta is actually what convinced me to join the sight so I must plot with him

ANYWAY! Callisto has loved walking around as a cat since her mother taught her the spell at the age of 5. So perhaps little Callisto was wandering around as a cat and bumped into Nychta. Then she just kept coming back to watch him until she got the courage to speak with him and attempted to befriend him. And if she found out about his love of chocolate she would bring him as many chocolate items as she could sneak out of the house. As a witch she would realize he was a supernatural creature but perhaps she didn’t realize he was a god. After a friendship was hopefully forged, she would have to leave because of her father’s death at 13.

Fast forward to her coming back about a year ago and starting her café. She would try to find him to attempt to reestablish their friendship. Even going so far as leaving chocolate items out for him to find on his wanderings about town.


Rasmus || Callisto Wickes

Not exactly sure how these two will get on but Callisto would love having a merfolk friend.

I'm glad you loved my child enough to join ahhhh

How dare she use his favorite things to get close! He'd probably be able to tell she wasn't an actual cat, especially while she was young and her magic weaker, but, yanno, he's too weak to animals. Being a child when they met would also make it a little less likely for him to immediately book it. Kids are... okay-ish. As long as they haven't already been corrupted by their parents!

It's also very obvious to tell he's supernatural, pfff. Fluffy ears, bunch of horns, black fur and feathers everywhere, wings, claws-- nah he's totally human. ;D

I'm super down for this, though Nychta would have been disheartened to have her leave Symphonia when she was younger. Probably missed his chance to try and provide any comfort since, well, he might not have known what to do/say if she did tell him beforehand. Otherwise he would have been super confused why she wasn't around anymore.

Might hold it against her if he didn't know, but, hey, that's just an extra plot point!

Just leave a trail of chocolate from his usual haunts to the cafe. It'll work out great as long as there isn't a bunch of people around.

Rassy likes friends. He likes them a lot. He's a little uncertain about the cat thing, though.

Burek Brooks x Nýchta

Nýchta meet Burek. Unlike any human you have ever seen before. Burek has been through hell and back. MEet my little angel that will accept anyone and everyone as they are. Burek once had a friend who was nothing but rude and offensive to him and all this little pure bean wanted to do was make friends with him and show him that even if he had a nasty personality. Someone cared for him.

So Nýchta, you might have just met your match. Now yes. He is very gullible and yes he is timid at times. But there isn't anything you can do to scare him off or make him be mean to you let alone criticize you about your looks. After all look at him! His face is scared not to mention his body under his clothing. So you know~

I think it would be super cute to let Nýchta meet the one human that would never judge him and even if he had horns on his head, even if he had potions in his hand or a fin when he touches the water. Burek wouldn't give a damn and would ask you if you cared to sit and chat a bit. Burek loves cooking and can often be seen just sitting in a random place reading up recipes to make.

How can you hate fire when you have a fire fox right infront of you? Thats right! cameron loves fire and he considers himself a fox even if hes a wizard Si why wouldnt you want to meet this sexy red head?

Okay seriously here! Your adorable merman looks like the perfect person for Cameron to tease and taunt. Cameron is a bit of a flirt and loves older men/woman so, i can so see him flirting with Rasmus a bit. Then when he realizes how his personality is. He will snort and want to kick him in the ass to get him moving, to get him out his little seashell.

Cameron believes that in life there are only a few guilty pleasures you can get away with and one is being yourself. so from someone that knows what its like for your parents to want you to be something you might not want to be. Cameron will want Rasmus to be himself and to stop being so timid (you know or shy they all same to him)
he will be like "Boy you sexy as f-ck. let's flaunt this." cause Cameron is not a bit shy let alone filtered when he's excited.

Burek Brooks && Nýchta
Nychta would be very off-put by Burek for the longest time. He'd try just about everything in the book to get rid of his presence aside from actually killing him. Soon enough he just wouldn't know what to do with him, probably take to ignoring him for a while before finally caving. Burek will probably be one of the first few people to try and win him over with persistence rather than his main weaknesses. In the long run, that might actually be a good thing.

So, in the event that Nychta does begin to accept Burek as the human flea who won't leave him alone, I can actually see him getting a little protective of Burek. Finds himself keeping watch from afar when he can, swoops in to stop that gullibility from being taken advantage of, and then try to run off like he hadn't done a thing.

Cameron Shane && Rasmus
But fire hurts! He was smart and touched fire during one of his adventures on land. He decided never again after that! Even though the thought of a fire fox sounds really cool, though he also wants to know what a fox is and if he can touch it without getting hurt.

Yes please tease and taunt him. He's the perfect target. He will be so confused and then so flustered if Cameron starts flirting with him. Yanno, if Cameron wants to take a swim with him and go off on a Little Mermaid melody, it'll probably help him open up and be himself faster. Probably ruins any potential conflict, but everything's better in song.

Cameron will also need to teach him how to flaunt. Teach him your waysssss! Which might be a bad idea but do it.

LOL if Nychta ignored him. Burek would totally annoy him asking him what his fvorite foods were. If he liked flowers. or what he liked in general. Then if Nychta keeps ignoring him. He'd totally being something to Nychta everytime he seen the other. like 'i know you're ignoring me... but i thought you might be hungry want a (insert item here)" and just smile sweetly like 'i didn't want you to get hungry. i'll be by tomorrow with something else!' Because he's to cute to let someone be alone let alone if he thinks they might be lonely/judged by others.

Hahaha, see if he got protective of Burek. Burek would go bright red and grin like a fool. "Ah, thank you really!" and leave it at that because Nychta doesn't seem to want to be acknowledged for it but at the same time. He can't... not say thank you. But you can bet your bottom dollar tomorrows 'offering' or 'gift' be a lot better then it was before simply because he was so thankful and happy that Nychta cared enough to help him. Even if he has no idea why he helped him.

But seriously. Cam will find him so amusing and he will wonder why he has to sing to make someone happy but you know. he likes to dance to certain songs so you know. He won't say no... but a little mermaid thing be so funny to see because Cameron loves water! But im not sure if he's a good swimmer because he likes the water but i don't think he has ever been in water before.

But omg yessss! He is so sassy and he will love to teach him a thing or two because he will be like nooo move your hips more like this~ xD

He won't answer those questions until he gets tired of hearing them. He will, however, take any food offered to him. After maybe scrutinizing it forever to see if it's poisoned. Unless he smells chocolate, then he'll just shove it into his mouth and walk off.

That persistence will pay off eventually, though. Enough to warrant short, fragmented responses.

Nychta would be so confused to get something better the day after what he would consider an insignificant act of foolishness on his part. The thanks would throw him off enough since he isn't used to it. He'd probably try to find out where Burek lives just to return the gifts if they aren't edible since he wouldn't find himself worthy of it. Leave it on his doorstep or window sill with only dampened footprints to show he had been there.

Cameron Shane && Rasmus
Don't say that, Cameron. He'll do it! Stares in consideration for only a moment before reaching out to touch his hair. Only to turn into a sputtering mess because he realized too late how weird that probably was.

Even if he isn't a good swimmer, Rasmus can teach him how! Horribly. Realize after a long, frustrating lesson that it's hard to teach someone with legs how to swim like the merfolk. Well, you know, at least he tried. And Rassy's 100% down to having someone to sing and dance with.

Cameron's probably going to be a terrible influence on Rasmus, but it's perfect. u:<
